I am writing to recommend Bodegas America in Panama (what are called "mini depósitos" locally). I am an American expatriate living in Panama and I needed to store my belongings prior to moving into a new apartment. I rented a climate controlled storage unit at Bodegas America in Panama primarily because I felt more comfortable dealing with an American company with a presence in Panama, El Salvador, Costa Rica & Colombia. I was not disappointed. Bodegas America in Panama is a brand new storage facility centrally located near the main residential areas. The manager is very professional. I received a very attractive $1 move-in special. And the process was quick and hassle-free. I would recommend Bodegas America to others.

Self-storage is a pretty new concept in Colombia; at least in Barranquilla, however, this service is of great value. I operate an import-export company in Barranquilla and I rented a self-storage unit from Bodegas America three months ago.
